How did you first start out in radio?
DJ-ing parties, then got a job doing college radio, 91.7 FM WMSE Baby!
Who were some of your earlier influences?
The Basement Brothers, Barry Johnson, Doc B, Reggie Brown, and Nate “The Great" Bell.
How long have you been involved in radio?
About 4 Years.
Who admire you the most?
My Father.
Who is your favorite artist?
Nas.
What is your favorite thing about being on the radio?
Meeting great people in the industry, and hearing new music before anyone else.
Why did you decide to go into radio business?
I’ve wanted to be on the radio since I was 10 years old. I guess I love the sound of my own voice.
What is your favorite movie?
Good Fellas.
Where have you worked in the past besides WKKV?
I’ve done everything from making pizzas, bagging groceries, to being a caddy and a security guard!
What makes WKKV unique?
Great people to work with.
If you could spend a day with one person, dead or alive, who would it be, and why?Malcolm X. He was an extremely smart man, and he was self- educated! His views and teaching are still useful in today’s world.
