Billboard has confirmed that our current Unsigned Hype, Trinidad Jame$, is now officially signed! He inked the deal with Def Jam for a rumored $2 million.
Def Jam's President, Joie Manda, had this to say:
"Trinidad James represents the cutting-edge of what's happening in the culture today. We are thrilled to have him at the label, and look forward to growing his already massive buzz."
Quite possibly the shortest reign as in our Unsigned Hype, we're most definitely thrilled to see Mr. All Gold Everything making MAJOR moves like this one.
