Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are setting their sights on a spot in the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The group has reunited to perform shows next month in Texas, California, Maryland, Indiana and Illinois. "We are commemorating 20 years of excellence,” said Flesh-N-Bone. “It’s like real focused right now. Live performances. On tour. We working real strong right now.”
Artists are eligible for election to the Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first record. Bone Thugs released their debut album, Faces of Death, in 1993. "We’re going for the 25 year thing. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,” says Bizzy Bone.
Only four hip-hop acts are in The Rock an Roll Hall of Fame: Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-D.M.C., The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy. A group does not have to be active for consideration.
