
The 40th Annual American Music Awards brought all the fire last night as celebs took to the stage to kick off the final major award show of the year.
The night had a slew of performances by the hottest artists in the game, including Nicki Minaj who sang her new single “Freedom” and took home two wins with Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album and Favorite Hip Hop Artist.
Rihanna ended up winning Favorite Soul/R&B Album for Talk That Talk. Her boo Chris Brown linked up with Ludacris and Swizz Beatz to perform, “Everyday Birthday” and Usher opened up the show with a medley of his hits including, “Numb,” “Climax,” and “Don’t Stop.” Pink and Christina Aguilera tore up the stage as well as Stevie Wonder who paid tribute to the late Dick Clark.
The highlight of the night had to be when Korean rapper PSY, Mr. “Gangnum Style” himself took the stage with MC Hammer.
