Gabriel Aubry made a big mistake getting involved in a Thanksgiving day bust-up with Olivier Martinez: the French actor has serious boxing skills.
Aubry claimed Martinez threatened Aubry at Nahla's school the day before their Thanksgiving Day brawl.
The two men came to blows outside Berry's home after Aubry dropped off Nahla. Aubry was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. with fractured ribs and bruising to his face and later charged with misdemeanor battery, with bail set at $20,000.
Interestingly enough, Halle Berry’s tough guy fiancee prophetically warned about his talents in an interview just last month.
“I had a good left hook — but keep that a secret!” revealed Martinez in the write-up.
The 46-year-old Unfaithful star, who spoke with Ocean Drive Magazine for its men’s issue in October, was taught to fight by his former professional boxer father Robert Martinez while growing up in Paris. And he almost took up the brutal sport for a living before turning to acting.
“Boxing is the ‘noble art’ — that’s the name of the game. It’s savage, but with rules, discipline, and a high sense of morality,” Martinez said in the inteview. “At times, it seems like society has no morality, so I’ve always liked boxing because it is hard, it’s violent, but it’s honest.”
And nobody knows that better than Aubry, 36, who was hospitalized following the nasty brawl with the broody actor and has the bruises to prove it, with the handsome catwalker spotted sporting a huge black and blue swelling under his left eye.
