How did you first start out in radio?
I wanted to be a talk show host so I took a chance and sent in a tape to a radio station in Chicago. Two days later, I was on the air hosting the morning show with absolutely no radio experience!!!
Who do you admire most?
My parents. They have always supported me in my goals and dreams and have accepted me for who I am. They are spirit-filled and humble and the greatest parents a child could ask for.
My favorite thing about being on the radio?
No 2 days are ever alike. It is such a pleasure to enter into the lives of the listeners and interact with them just like they are family. It's exciting to have listeners all over the world from different cultures and backgrounds. Music is universal.
Where have you worked besides WKKV?
I currently have a Midday show on 107.5 FM WGCI in Chicago, and WHT "Hott 1075" in Bermuda. I also hosted a Midday show in Las Vegas at KVGS FM.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Shoe shopping! I also frequently travel and visit museums, live theatre, the opera and concerts.
