The driver of the Wal-Mart truck that crashed into Tracy Morgan's limousine van earlier this month was speeding, say investigators.
The National Transportation Safety Board says in a preliminary report on the accident that Kevin Roper -- who's been charged with vehicular homicide and assault -- was "traveling at 65 mph" in a 45-mph speed zone just before the fatal collision.
Investigators also say that Roper, who pleaded not guilty this week, had been driving for more than 13 hours during his shift. Morgan's condition was upgraded to fair this week.
