Coi Leray is cutting all ties with her dad Benzino after he vouched for convicted sex offender R. Kelly.

It all started after the controversial artist was asked if the imprisoned R&B singer deserves a second chance during his recent interview on the We In Miami podcast. Without hesitation, 'Zino said everyone deserves a second chance and tried to use the late Elvis Presley's relationship with a then-14-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu to defend Kelly's past crimes. Benzino didn't condone sexual relations with 16-year-olds, but he also doesn't think the Pied Piper should serve 30 years in prison. Coi joined the chorus of critics who disagreed with her dad.

"I want everybody to know I want nothing to do with anything my father has going on," Coi wrote in her X post. "I havenโ€™t spoken to him in over a year and I donโ€™t condone or respect any of them interviews he got going on. I donโ€™t respect his decisions and I really want nothing to do with him please dont even think of me when you see him."

"Sharing the same DNA and blood DOESNโ€™T make us FAMILY," she continued. "Loyalty , boundaries , respect , teaching , guidance , love , patience , encouragement MAKES US FAMILY ."

Coi Leray's strained relationship with her father is no secret since she's put him on blast several times in the past. At one point, the two were on good terms. Now it's clear that Coi won't be bonding with her pops anytime soon.

Despite 'Zino's opinions on the case, R. Kelly will remain at a medium-security prison in North Carolina until 2045. He was found guilty on three counts of child pornography and three counts of criminal sexual activity with a minor. His conviction in Chicago was recently upheld following a failed attempt at an appeal. Kelly will serve his 20-year sentence concurrently with his 30-year sentence from his racketeering conviction in New York.
