Former Nappy Roots rapper R. Prophet says he's the victim of police brutality. The emcee was arrested last weekend outside of Louisville, Kentucky and charged with six counts, including disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Officers reportedly used a taser and pepper spray against the rapper when he allegedly became combative. Now, R. Prophet - born Kenneth Ryan Anthony - tells TMZ.com that he fully cooperated with police and that the taser was used only after he was placed in handcuffs and lying on the ground.
Anthony feels the officers treated him "like a slave." He also claims the police were treating him so badly he believed they were going to kill him.
